Cerid Jones is a creative creature residing on the Kāpiti Coast. Her work experiments with a wide array of materials to help explore ideas inspired from the dream realm. She has a Honours Diploma in Art and Creativity, studying by distance at The Learning Connection, and is also heavily influenced by her university studies in Anthropology, English Literature, Classical Studies, Theatre, and Philosophy. She is currently enjoying exploring textiles to create nocturnal creatures and mystical characters using natural materials. She is also painting works inspired by a variety of esoteric themes and cultural tales.
