Kāpiti is a wonderful environment for artists, many of whom have moved here to draw inspiration from the beautiful bush-clad hills, fantastic parks and rivers, and wide-open beaches, and of course the iconic and mysterious Kāpiti Island. The cultural heritage of Kāpiti is also strongly represented on the Arts Trail this year, with participants working in traditional and contemporary Ngā Toi Māori, and a new Hub set in the historic Lindale Village.

Visitors to Kāpiti for the Arts Trail can experience some of the district's wonderful natural features and also the growing number of great eating places.  Follow the Kāpiti Coast District Council's Kāpiti Arts Trail Facebook and Instagram page for updates about the artists and for specials that local businesses are putting up during the weekends of the Arts Trail.

The Lindale Kāpiti Arts Trail Hub will feature Studio Artists and artists from the Lindale Village Arts Guild.
